Despite being one of the most well-known cities in the world, Paris can be difficult to fully appreciate from behind a map or screen. You'll want to explore the numerous intriguing locations and sites you come across on your own or with an informed buddy. Here are some of my top recommendations for things to do in Paris that you shouldn't miss.
Don't Miss: The National Rugby Museum
When I travelled to England for the Rugby World Cup in 2015, that's when I first learned about this museum. It is a private collection of numerous rugby-related artefacts. Here, you may discover how the game developed before there were professional leagues to help players get better.
Several multi-million dollar items are on display, including the oldest rugby ball.
A must-see is the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel Tower must be included on any list of intriguing things to do in Paris. Even if the symbol has almost become cliché in popularity, this is one of those attractions that shouldn't be missed.
Do not overlook the Louvre.
I heartily suggest visiting the Louvre Museum for at least a day. The collections are extensive and include anything from Egyptian artefacts to Renaissance paintings and sculptures to mediaeval weapons and armour. I booked my Louvre Museum Tour in advance because I had limited time to explore the museum.
Paris's Disneyland is a must-see.
The Disneyland in Paris is a great place to spend a day while you're in the city and is organised similarly to the original park at Walt Disney World. I advise purchasing your Disneyland Paris Ticket in advance, checking out the parades, and walking through the central area with its fountains if it's sunny.
Do not overlook Moulin Rouge.
In case you didn't know, there are a number of well-known music halls in Europe referred to as Moulin Rouge, which translates to "the red windmill." You may have watched the 2001 film starring Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor, and Jim Broadbent that was based on it. I visited the one in Paris, a well-liked location that draws visitors from all over the world.
