I am an 8-year-old girl from Vietnam. I am currently in third grade at a local primary school. I love learning new things and making new friends. In this essay, I will tell you a little bit about myself and my experiences in school.

My Family

I come from a family of four – my parents, my younger brother, and me. My parents are both teachers, which is probably why I enjoy going to school so much. They are very supportive and always encourage me to do my best. My brother is in first grade and we often play together after school. I am lucky to have such a loving and caring family.

My Hobbies

When I am not at school, I enjoy playing badminton and swimming. I have been taking badminton lessons for a year now and I am getting better at it every day. Swimming is something I picked up recently and I love the feeling of being in the water. I also like to read books, especially fairytales and adventure stories. My favorite book is Alice in Wonderland. I can never get tired of reading it over and over again.

My School Life

I have been going to school since I was 5 years old. I still remember my first day of school – I was so excited and nervous at the same time. But now, I am used to going to school and I look forward to it every day. My school is a fun and friendly place. I have many friends from different classes and we always have a great time together. My favorite subject is English because I love learning new words and phrases. I also enjoy art class where I get to be creative and make beautiful paintings.

My Dream

When I grow up, I want to be a teacher just like my parents. I admire them for their dedication and patience in teaching young minds. I also want to help children who are less fortunate than me to have access to education. I believe that education is the key to a better future and I want to make a positive impact in the world.
