I wanted to share some easy tips on how to buy property in Abu Dhabi from Russia. I’ve been doing some research, and it’s not as complicated as it might seem!
1. Find a Trusted Real Estate Agent
The first step is to look for a good, licensed real estate agent in Abu Dhabi. They can help you understand the market, property options, and legal process.
2. Choose the Right Property
There are many great locations in Abu Dhabi like Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, and Al Reem Island. You can choose between apartments, villas, or even waterfront homes depending on your budget.
3. Understand Ownership Rules
As a Russian citizen, you can own property in designated investment zones. No need to be a resident or have a visa for buying property in these areas.
4. Documents You’ll Need
Just your valid passport is enough to start. If you want to register the property, your agent or lawyer will guide you on what else is required.
5. Make the Payment
Usually, you’ll need to pay a 10% deposit to reserve the property. After that, the rest is paid at the time of signing the sales agreement.
6. Register the Property
