I’ve been on the lookout for a decent alternative to Omegle since that platform kind of lost its charm. Recently, I came across CooMeet and it seems to market itself as a more refined option, especially with its claim to connect users mostly with women.
That sounds promising, but I’m wondering—is CooMeet really a good Omegle alternative or just another paywall-heavy site with bots? I’ve tried a few random video chat apps before, and most of them either felt empty or were full of fake profiles and awkward silence.
What’s the vibe like on CooMeet? Is the video quality decent? Do people actually talk, or is it more about skipping endlessly until you find someone remotely normal?
Also, how’s the overall experience—worth trying for casual conversations on this random video chat?
I’m genuinely curious before I spend time on it. If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear your honest opinion. Is CooMeet a step up from Omegle, or just more of the same in a different wrapper?
