Southwest Airlines ORD Terminal uses Terminal 5 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), which serves both international and select domestic flights. Terminal 5 was renovated to handle increased domestic traffic and now includes updated amenities, streamlined security, and improved passenger flow. Southwest passengers will check in and depart from this terminal, usually through gates in Concourse M. While Terminal 5 offers dining and shopping options, gate areas may be less spacious compared to other terminals. It’s recommended to arrive early, especially for first-time travelers at ORD, as the terminal can get busy and gate distances may require extra walking time.
