Expo Metro Station located at the heart of the Expo City Dubai site, is a symbol of the city's dedication to progress, sustainability, and global connectivity. As the final stop on the Route 2020 extension of the Dubai Metro Red Line, the station was initially designed to serve millions of visitors during Expo 2020 and now continues to play a key role in supporting the growth of Expo City as a hub for business, tourism, and innovation.
With its modern design, wide platforms, and seamless integration with Expo City’s attractions, the station is already an efficient and visually impressive transit point. To enhance its long-term utility, we suggest converting the station into an interactive mobility hub—featuring digital exhibitions about Expo 2020’s legacy, future development plans, and sustainable transport initiatives. Additionally, incorporating electric shuttle services or autonomous vehicles connecting the station to various Expo City zones would make transportation smoother and more engaging for visitors.
