One question I keep running into is whether David McKay Publications is still active as a publishing house. Some sites list them as established in the past with a long publishing record, but I don’t see much about their present-day status.
For authors, its crucial to know if a publisher is actively accepting new submissions or if their role is more historical now. I’ve come across references to books that were published decades ago under David McKay Publications, but very little about new titles.
Has anyone seen any recent releases from them in the past few years? Or maybe connected with editors or representatives associated with the company? If they’re no longer directly involved in publishing, do their titles still circulate through another company?
