I had an amazing time visiting Madeira! The island’s landscapes are stunning—lush mountains, dramatic cliffs, and colorful flowers everywhere. In Funchal, I loved wandering the Old Town and trying local dishes at the Mercado dos Lavradores. Taking the cable car up to Monte and riding the traditional toboggan down was unforgettable. I also hopped on a hop on hop off Funchal bus to see all the main sights easily. —Max
