I'm traveling to Lyon and will arrive at 1:15 p.m. I'm staying at the Cour des Loges hotel. Where is the best place to book an advance transfer in France? I'll only have one large suitcase. However, I read on forums that taxi drivers there charge €80 for a one-way transfer. That seems really expensive to me. So, I'm looking for other transfer options.
Is this your first time flying to France? When I was in Lyon in the spring, I also didn't want to overpay the local taxi drivers. I found GetTransfer online and booked a ride to the city center for 80 euros. Look under the taxi France category for transfer options. You can choose a car class, and the price will be visible immediately when you enter your destination address. I stayed at the Cour des Loges hotel, and it took 25–30 minutes to get there. This was a great solution for me, especially after a long flight. Would you prefer to have a driver meet you at the airport with a sign or would you rather book a private transfer?
