From my experience, visiting Machu Picchu day trip? can definitely be done as a day trip, but it depends on where you’re starting from. When I stayed in Cusco, I had to wake up around 3 a.m. to catch the train to Aguas Calientes, the small town at the base of Machu Picchu. From there, it was a short bus ride up the mountain. I spent several hours exploring the ruins, taking photos, and soaking in the incredible views before heading back the same evening. It was a long, tiring day, but absolutely worth it. If you prefer a slower pace, staying overnight in Aguas Calientes makes the trip more relaxing. So yes, Machu Picchu can be a day trip, but be ready for an early start and a full, unforgettable day of adventure.
